I ordered some roses from Palatine Roses in the Niagara region, Ontario in
the winter of 2009. I had always been a little hesitant to try
growing roses. I thought they were too fussy to grow. Love and
Peace is my first Hybrid Tea purchase. It is a beautiful rose
with large glossy green leaves.
I especially enjoy the Hybrid Tea roses, as they have such beautiful
blooms! I have found that as long as I provide winter protection,
they survive our zone 5 winters just fine. Stephen's Big Purple

It seems to bloom constantly throughout the summer.
If you are interested in trying Roses on a smaller scale, your might
want to consider Miniature Roses. One economical way I have found
is to buy a potted miniature rose from your local shop. In most of
these small containers, there are three or four individual plants.
You can divide the plants and nurture them inside the house under
lights. When spring arrives, you can transplant them outdoors into
your garden. There is a posting in the Miniature Rose forum
on GardenWeb. The posting is titled How to save a potted gift
rose. They have detailed all the instructions you should need to
be successful.
Intrigue is a Floribunda rose. The color is a beautiful purple.
It is quite stunning in full bloom.
This is a lovely , short climber rose
